| When I was about 10 years old (some
30 years ago!) and living in Palatine, it was a huge thrill to find
out we were going to Randhurst Mall (one of the ONLY malls in all the
suburbs then!!!) because I would get to go to PJ's!!!!! I always came
home with some cool practical joke or magic trick that I used on
friends at church and in the neighborhood. Today, many years later (and many many miles away) I was browsing magic shop websites for new tricks and jokes, and came across your site. The spirit of magic and fun your shop sparked in me has touched the lives of hundreds of children all over the world. I work with abused and "problem" kids, and use tricks and gimmicks in my teaching sessions with kids and other teachers. It was a pleasant trip down memory lane to see you are still in operation, selling the same kind of goofy stuff. And it's nice to know I haven't grown so old and frumpy that I don't still browse your treasures for something cool to pull on somebody! - Brian |
